800 Solitaire undergoes Chimney Chase & Roofing Project (6-12 week process)

Chimney chase repair project begins September 13, 2021 at Solitaire 800.

The Chimney chase repair and roofing replacement timeline is subject to change by vendor and may take anywhere from 6-12 weeks. If there is any changes, the Maintenance Manager will let owners know by email and will send progress updates throughout the project. Please check the Events Calendar for more information.

Here are some precautions and tips to prepare your unit for the work that is about to take place:

1. Everything not secured should be removed from the chimney walls above your fireplace. Construction on the roof causes vibration that can cause framed artwork and other hanging items to fall
2. Please also remove all items off your mantle to avoid any breakage.
3. When skylights are being replaced in upper units, debris and dust may fall down. Kindly remove any furniture underneath your skylight OR authorize our maintenance staff to place a drop cloth under your skylight for the duration of the replacement process.
4. We recommend that you not plan to use your unit at all during the weekdays that your building will be under construction.

It may be difficult for you to come to Snowater to prepare your unit for the construction while the current travel restrictions are in place.
